Subversão e reiteração na representação do mundo na imprensa infantil franco-brasileira: considerações sobre La Semaine de Suzette e O Tico-Tico em 1905

Abstract

The article analyzes the emergence of children's press in France and Brazil, questioning the uses that Human Sciences researchers, especially in the fields of History, Philosophy of Language and Communication, have given to this potentially appealing documentary corpus. It also dialogically discusses the emergence of this niche of publication in Brazil and France, comparing two emblematic illustrated magazines from the beginning of the 20th century: the French La Semaine de Suzette and the Brazilian O Tico-Tico, both created in 1905. The analysis of the covers that launch the publications of these two editorial successes, demonstrates the connections of discourses from different origins, and the specificities of the Brazilian magazine in relation to the French one, regarding the presence of carnivalization on the covers of O Tico-Tico.

Raquel Discini de Campos, Universidade Federal de Uberlândia

Professora associada da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, onde atua nos cursos de graduação em Pedagogia e Comunicação Social. Professora permanente dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Educação e Comunicação Social, filia-se a Linha de Pesquisa História e Historiografia da Educação (PPGED) e Tecnologias e Interfaces da Comunicação (PPGCE), orientando pesquisas de mestrado e doutorado. Possui graduação em História pela Universidade Estadual Paulista (Assis, 1996), mestrado em Educação pela Universidade Estadual Paulista (Araraquara, 2003), doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Estadual Paulista (Araraquara, 2007) e pós-doutorado pós-doutorado pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP, 2016). Tem experiência nas áreas de História da Educação e História Social da Imprensa, pesquisando principalmente sobre seguintes temas: imprensa e educação; gênero e imprensa; intelectuais da educação e imprensa, história da educação na zona pioneira paulista (região noroeste). É coordenadora do NEPHE-UFU (Núcleo de Pesquisa em História e Historiografia da Educação).
