As cartilhas e a história da alfabetização no Brasil: alguns apontamentos
Abstract
Abstract
The textbooks as well as the methods have been for decades the central problem of literacy. This article is intended to be an open discussion for researchers from different areas of the social sciences field who have literacy with a cultural history perspective as their object of study. This approach is validated as we know that scholars have been debating among themselves in order to consider the social applications of reading and writing in their multiple features. It is because of the lack of a historic research on literacy that I intend to start the debate around the textbooks, a field which has not been much explored historically.
Keywords: literacy, reading and writing: methodological paradigms, education history.
