TRAINING AND GENDER RELATIONS IN EDUCATION POSTGRADUATE IN THE NORTHERN REGION (1987-2020)

Abstract

This study examines the experience of gender researchers in postgraduate education programs in the Northern Region, between 1987 and 2020. It studies the challenges and possibilities in the relationship between education and gender relations in the programs under study and how the researchers give new meaning to their work. The research is based on narratives and documentary sources, Plataforma Lattes and Sucupira, in order to revisit academic trajectories and the programs under study. The debate on gender at university has proved to be an effective way of engaging "outsiders" in the day-to-day life of the university, as well as sparking reflection on the implementation of public and welcoming policies.- justificado
