O Comportamento Suicida na Perspectiva de Familiares de Adolescentes
Abstract
This study sought to understand how family members of teenager with suicidal behavior assisted at a Psychosocial Care Center in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre/RS deal with this phenomenon. This is a qualitative research with a descriptive and exploratory approach based on semi-structured interviews. The result was the understanding that the understanding of family members about the phenomenon of suicidal behavior has been crossed by cultural, political and economic factors, teenager surveillance as the main care tool and great development of family members' suffering due to the burden of carrying out care. adolescent. It is necessary that health services are closer and prepared to monitor and assist the families of teenager with suicidal behavior, oriented and providing support, as well as the promotion of studies on suicidal behavior in adolescence and the impact it generates on family members
