A Revolução da Inteligência Artificial na Educação Matemática

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the main technological innovations applied to Mathematics Education, enabling personalized learning, task automation, and increased student engagement. This paper is a theoretical-critical essay grounded in a narrative literature review (2020–2025), aiming to critically analyze the pedagogical potential and ethical limits of integrating AI into Mathematics teaching. The method describes the search strategy, selection criteria, and interpretive qualitative synthesis. The discussion covers adaptive platforms, intelligent tutoring systems, chatbots, and digital tools, as well as risks related to technological dependency, algorithmic bias, data privacy, and widening educational inequalities. We argue that AI can support more inclusive and innovative pedagogical practices, provided that its use is guided by didactic intentionality, teacher education, and principles of equity and digital ethics.
