Adorno and Derrida: a debate on communication theory
Keywords:
Cultural industry. Deconstruction. Critical theory.Abstract
The aim of this paper is to question the use of the concept of “new information and communication”, taking advantage of critical theory, deconstruction and the possibility of connection between them. Whether, therefore, question the concept of NICTs as libertarian and emancipatory from its opposition to the means of mass communication, identified as oppressors and manipulators. I intend, therefore, discuss the binary oppositions on which still rely on many of the concept of NICTs.Downloads
