The Media representation of the political conflict: a study about the showdown between “farm and government” media treatment in 2008

This investigation aims to analyze the implementation of the 125/08 Resolution to the Farm Export Tax Clarin´s. The announcement of the norm was the beginning of a huge singular conflict between the most powerfull actors of the argentinian farm and the argentinian national government. From the content analysis of Clarín, daily newspaper it´s expected to study the salience of that issue and the predominant Issues attributes used in the media treatment in the period between march 11th of 2008, announcement date of 125 Resolution, and july 17th of the same year, abolition´s day of the norm in the National Congress´s Senate.
