A influência da vulnerabilidade climática no comportamento de países do G20 em relação ao Acordo de Paris

Os estudos sobre a relação entre vulnerabilidade climática e o comportamento dos Estados no âmbito internacional têm se ampliado. Em se tratando dos principais atores do Regime Internacional de Mudança do Clima (RIMC), destacam-se os países do G20, maiores economias mundiais e responsáveis por cerca de 80% das emissões atuais de GEE. Neste artigo, o questionamento orientador indaga qual a influência da vulnerabilidade climática dos países do G20 quanto ao comportamento em relação ao Acordo de Paris? Por meio de uma revisão de literatura e análise das NDCs, relacionou-se estas informações com dados sobre a vulnerabilidade climática de quatro países conforme o Índice de Adaptação Global da Universidade de Notre Dame (ND-Gain). Constatou-se que o Reino Unido e a Alemanha, países menos vulneráveis, sofreram com o aumento de vulnerabilidade em áreas como Alimento, Saúde, possivelmente devido ao aumento da temperatura e falta de planos adaptativos. Quanto aos dois países mais vulneráveis, Índia e Indonésia, mesmo mais necessitados do RIMC quanto ao financiamento, possuem programas adaptativos mais eficientes.
