Abstract

It investigates how ALBA, an international organization self identified as the political left in America continent, mobilize the human right meanings and categories inside one of its principals communication vehicles, the Alba TV, with a special focus on the images built around the Inter-American Human Rights System.

PhD in Political Science from the University of São Paulo (USP) and Post-Doc at Harvard University. She is a professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations Institute at USP and researcher at the Center for the Study of Contemporary Culture (CEDEC)
