Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- Bio information of every author is provided, including degree, institutional affiliation and ORCID number.
- The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal.
- The submitted files are either in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format (and the size must not exceed 2MB).
- The submitted file has title and abstract (up to 250 words) in the language in which it is being submitted and in English, up to five (5) keywords that allow proper indexing of the article, and a list of references according to ABNT standards.
- All Internet page addresses (URLs) included in the text (eg, http://www.ibict.br) must be active and ready to click.
- The text is in space 1,5; uses a 12-point font; uses italic instead of underlining (except URL addresses); with figures and tables placed at the end of the manuscript and also submitted in a separate file of the source application that produced them, with clear indications of where they should be inserted throughout the text.
- The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for Authors in the About the Journal section.
- Any identification of authorship of the work must be removed from the article and from the properties of the file, thus guaranteeing the journal's confidentiality criterion, in case it is submitted for peer evaluation , according to instructions available in Ensuring a Blind Peer Review.
- All authors have been registered. The Title Page and the Declaration of authorship and originality has been duly completed and attached to the submission.
