Digital tools allowed, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, a new way of teaching, learning and informing. The objective of this report is to address the experience of digital health education experienced by teachers and students of the Community Service Integration Internship (INESC) of the fifth and sixth semester of the Dentistry undergraduate course of the University Center of Patos de Minas. Digital platforms were used to prepare audiovisual booklets with content about oral health and life cycles, for posting on social media promoting the dissemination of reliable information in an accessible and agile manner, as well as fostering knowledge about digital resources and content adequacy. Associated with the collective construction of the material by the students, the digital content produced was distributed to the municipal health department in order to popularize the knowledge produced in the academic environment. The students promoted distance educational action synchronously for adolescents who had committed infractions and were in provisional internment. This experience highlights the process of building instructional materials asynchronously and health education through digital platforms, in order to maintain two fundamental processes in dentistry courses: the teaching-learning of students and health education for the population, contextualizing learning and social reality.
