Objective: To present Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) and disseminate partial results of the "curriculum" analysis category of research linked to the Professional Master's dissertation "Neglected Tropical Diseases: analysis of training in a multi-professional residency program with emphasis on health surveillance and a proposal for continuing education," making available publications of interest on the subject. Method: An exploratory study with a qualitative approach was conducted. Participants were healthcare professionals who were residents in the Integrated Health Residency Program (RIS) at the Rio Grande do Sul School of Public Health (ESP/RS), with an emphasis on Health Surveillance, and who were in their second year of training (R2) in 2025 (n=7). Data was collected through semi-structured individual interviews recorded using audio equipment and transcribed in full. The textual material produced was interpreted using content analysis techniques, with the support of the Visual Qualitative Data Analysis software (Atlas.ti), articulating it with the supporting theoretical framework and with Merleau-Ponty's theory of the phenomenology of perception. Results: The Bulletin presents the three emerging themes of the "curriculum" analysis category: NTDs as uncharted territory, the concrete experience of NTDs in the residency curriculum, and recommendations for teaching NTDs. Conclusion: The results obtained contribute to the development of continuing education technologies for the training of professionals for the Brazilian National Health System (SUS), especially with an emphasis on health surveillance and the production of knowledge about NTDs, through qualitative evidence.
