RESUMO
Estudo da construção cultural do Brasil centrada em pesquisa das práticas e representações sociais, por meio de mitos, símbolos e idealizações de uma identidade, estabelecendo as relações e os conflitos que se efetuam e acontecem na sociedade como um todo. O objetivo desta reflexão é propor uma história cultural do social, tendo como objeto as representações construídas por meio de complexos processos de apropriações e resignificados de identidades regionais, religiosas, políticas, étnicas e nacionais.

ABSTRACT
This paper studies the cultural construction of Brazil with a research focused on the practices and social representations, through myths, symbols, and idealizations of an identity, establishing the relationships and the conflicts that are carried out and take place in the society as a whole. The aim of this reflection is to propose a cultural history of the social, having as objective the representations constructed through complexes processes of appropriation and resignification of regional, religious, political, ethnic, and national identities.
