About the Journal
Focus and Scope
REAd publishes essays and theoretical-empirical works from different areas of Administration. We welcome works from different onto-epistemological strands, with high theoretical consistency and methodological rigor (when applicable). Although REAd includes contributions to the practice of Administration, it is a journal oriented to the academic community. Therefore, works that are restricted to the application of management models and technologies are not accepted. Contributions submitted for evaluation must be unpublished (in any language) and must not be under consideration in another journal. The text cannot contain any information about the authors, review comments or other form of identification of authorship in the submission and review rounds. Furthermore, it needs to be free from plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
Peer Review Process
REAd's evaluation process is completely anonymous and peer reviewed. The evaluators are PhD professors from several institutions.
The works undergo a pre-evaluation by the editor (desk review) and, if accepted, are sent to the evaluators, anonymously (double blind review).
At this stage, the existence of one recommendation for rejection is considered enough for the editorial decision on rejecting the paper.
Submissions can be in Portuguese, Spanish or English. The complete work will be published in the language in which it is submitted.
The work must comply with the ABNT standards used by the journal and the parameters established in the Guidelines for Authors.
Publication Frequency
REAd is published every 4 months in open acess. All the articles in published editions are avaliable online at our website. One is not required to sign REAd or pay any fee.
Article Processing Charges
The REAd - Revista Eletrônica de Administração adopts the policy of not imposing charges for fees at any stage of the editorial process, from submission to publication, with the cost of the editorial process being the responsibility of the journal, as well as maintenance of distribution and unrestricted access to documents published by REAd.
