A influência da liberdade econômica na conexão entre inovação, corrupção e percepção de felicidade
Abstract
Corruption has an impact on economies, affecting social progress and economic growth. Its incidence varies between countries, being more common in developing nations, which can affect innovation rates. The relationship between happiness, innovation and corruption, influenced by economic freedom, is an interconnected topic of study. This research analyzes relevant global indexes of 119 countries, confident for the development of these themes. It was evident that countries with high economic freedom and low corruption rate have a high rate of happiness and innovation. In addition, freedom in repressed environments has a low happiness index and countries with economics have high happiness. It was also evidenced that corruption generates happiness in repressed environments and reduces the perception of happiness in free environments. Similarly, happiness increases as the index of economic freedom increases. Thus, promoting happiness, innovation and fighting corruption are interconnected objectives that require a strategic analysis.
