Programa de triagem auditiva neonatal: resultados de um hospital universitário de Porto Alegre

OBJETIVO: Apresentar resultados obtidos no PTAN everificar se estão dentro das recomendações do CBPAI para a TANU. MÉTODOS: estudo analítico retrospectivo, de corte transversal, foram analisados exames realizados no período de junho de 2009 até junho de 2010. RESULTADOS: No período analisados, nasceram 7.229 bebês. Destes 7.001 (96,8%) realizaram a TAN, 853 (11%) foram encaminhados para o reteste, 81 (9%) não compareceram e 145 (18,8%) foram encaminhados para o ambulatório de Orl para o início diagnóstico. CONCLUSÃO: Verificando a recomendação do CBPAI podemos concluir que esta maternidade alcança os 95% preconizados pelo comitê, ultrapassa os índices de falso-positivos (reteste) que é de 3% e de encaminhamento para avaliação audiológica completa que não deve exceder 4%.
