Abstract

This article aims to describe and analyze the impact of the Revival and Union of Spain Party (PRUNE) on the process of socio-political articulation of Muslims in Spain. In particular it aims to describe and analyze the political and historical context of the emergence of this party in the European Union; their background in Spain, particularly in the Autonomous Cities of Ceuta and Melilla; and their impact on the process of socio-political articulation. The main hypothesis considers the PRUNE challenges a number of difficulties that could strongly diminish its impact on the overall process.
