Theoretical categories anchor of Antonio Gramsci’s thought in articles of the Gramsci bibliographic map in Brazil

Abstract

The study of the influence of Antonio Gramsci in Brazilian scientific productions has been an object of study of the International Gramsci Society – Brazil – IGS-BR that culminated with the launch of the Gramsci Bibliography Map in Brazil. This work started from the referred map to contribute to this effort, in order to identify the Gramscian theoretical foundations present in the respective productions, from the incidence of its theoretical categories in the articles published in Brazil. For this work, a cut was made of the 11 articles that dealt with the following categories: Philosophy of Praxis (5), Culture (3), Collective Will (2) and Ideology (1). This is a systematic bibliographic search, with an exploratory character. The analysis technique used was content analysis. The results indicate that Hegemony was the theoretical anchor category with the highest incidence in the texts, behaving as an articulator of the unity of Gramscian thought in the productions of the IGS-BR Map.
