    Abstract

    Dear readers and authors, Even pandemic times, the Editorial Team hopes to find them all well. In 2017, we started the trajectory of this journal with courage and enthusiasm, contributing to advancement of analytical science in different areas of pharmaceutical research. Over these five years of learning and improvement, we are consolidating step by step this digital means of communication that aims to disseminate and update perspectives of drug analysis in different matrices. The first issue of 2021 celebrates our fifth year of existence and stands out for the inclusion of two manuscripts from abroad and two review manuscripts. The journal's layout also received innovations in reference to this date. Finally, we would like to point out that the journal is indexed by Diadorim, DOAJ and Google Scholar, and is currently classified as Qualis C by CAPES. Thanks to those who have been with us these five years and be most welcome if you are new here. We wish you all an excellent reading.
