AI Policy

Generative and Assisted Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy 

For Authors 

• Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy of all content of manuscripts submitted to Drug Analytical Research even those parts incorporated by an AI tool. 
• AI-generative tools cannot be considered an Author. 
• Authors must publicize any use of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the elaboration of manuscript by adding a statement within the Methods section of their manuscript. Content created by AI is discouraged, unless part of formal research design and is not permitted without clear description of the name of the tool. 
• The references will be fully verified for their authenticity.
• None IA generated figure or illustration will be accepted by Drug Analytical Research in Results and Discussion sections. 

For Reviewers 

• Reviewers should not upload manuscript sections or the full text into AI tools to prevent original data being used for training purposes. 
• AI tools cannot replace a reviewer’s critical evaluation as there is a risk that the technology may generate incorrect, incomplete, or biased conclusions. 
• Reviewers remain fully responsible for the content of their review reports. 
• Reviewers are encouraged to report suspected misuse of AI to the Editor. 

Note: This policy does not relate to tools such as spelling or grammar checkers which may be integrated at text processing software. These tools can be used by authors without disclosure.
