A pós-graduação brasileira: retrospectiva histórica e perspectivas
Abstract
Neste estudo, através de revisão bibliográfica, é realizada, em forma de sinopse, uma retrospectiva histórica da curta trajetória da pós-graduação brasileira quando comparada com a de países da Europa e dos Estados Unidos. De forma contextualizada, cronológica e à luz da legislação pertinente - parecer n. 977/65 do Conselho Federal de Educação, Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional n. 4.024/61, lei 5540/68 e Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional n. 9394/96 - discute os caminhos e descaminhos percorridos por esse importante nível de ensino. Por fim, ante a ideologia neoliberal, globalização-regionalização da economia, projeta perspectiva dos programas dentro do cenário MercosuI.

Abstract
This work presents a historical review of the recent trajectory of the post-graduation in Brazil (if compared to post-graduation in Europe and USA), through a bibliographic review. It discusses this trajectory in a contextualized way and analyses the laws referring to the matter: report n. 977 from Federal Council of Education, Law n. 4.024/61, 5.540/68 and n. 9.364/96 and, considering the neoliberal ideology and the globalization of economics, attempts a projection of the programs of post-graduation within the context of Mercosul.
