International Metalworkers’ Federation: international organizations and new ways of unionism

The aim of this article is to analyze the internationalization of the labor movement from the Gerdau case, considering its dialogue with the International Metalworkers’ Federation (IMF) and other international organizations (IOs) in a setting of social networks that act through different levels (national, regional and/or international). We begin observing of the relationship of the Brazilian multinational Gerdau with the IMF and the workers of the plants in countries where the company operates.
