Trata-se da tradução do relatório do Congresso Nacional sobre educação de surdos ocorrido em Lyon em 1789. Tal congresso precede o popularizado Congresso de Milão (1880) cuja narrativa hegemônica atribui a extinção das línguas de sinais. O texto de Lyon permite rever essa afirmação sobre Milão e possibilita compreender melhor o processo de constituição da verdade oralista. É um texto ainda não conhecido por pesquisadores sobre educação de surdos, tornando-se potencial documento para futuros estudos.Downloads
