A PRESERVAÇÃO DO PATRIMÔNIO CULTURAL E O ENSINO-APRENDIZAGEM DA DISCIPLINA NAS UNIVERSIDADES DE CURITIBA E FERRARA

O presente estudo relata as semelhanças e diferenças entre o percurso formativo das disciplinas relacionadas com a conscientização, conservação e restauro do patrimônio arquitetônico no ensino superior em Curitiba, Brasil e em Ferrara, Itália. O objetivo é demonstrar o quanto a graduação pode influenciar no compromisso real e no efetivo interesse de uma atuação responsável dos futuros arquitetos com a preservação do patrimônio cultural, que aqui se entende como testemunha viva de uma memória coletiva a ser transmitida de forma idônea às gerações futuras. A partir de uma análise comparativa direta entre as grades curriculares destes cursos de Arquitetura e Urbanismo buscamos elencar os pontos de destaque, positivos ou negativos, com relação ao tema patrimonial. Analisando as cargas horárias das disciplinas e os métodos de ensino de universidades públicas e privadas em Curitiba e da Università degli Studi di Ferrara - considerada atualmente a melhor universidade de arquitetura da Itália - e, por meio do levantamento quantitativo dos trabalhos de conclusão de curso que se referem ao tema do patrimônio, busca-se mapear o efetivo interesse despertado pela disciplina no corpo discente em relação aos demais campos de atuação do arquiteto.

ABSTRACT
The present study reports the similarities and differences between the formative course of the disciplines related to the awareness, conservation and restoration of the architectural patrimony in higher education in Curitiba, Brazil and Ferrara, Italy. The objective is to demonstrate how the degree can influence the real commitment and the effective interest of a responsible action of the future architects within the preservation of the cultural patrimony, that here is understood as living witness of a collective memory to be competently transmitted to the future generations. From a direct comparative analysis between the Architecture and Urbanism curricular grade, we seek to list the highlights, positive or negative, related to the patrimonial theme. Weighting the time loads of the disciplines and teaching methods of selected public and private universities in Curitiba and the Università degli Studi di Ferrara, currently considered the best university of architecture in Italy and, through a quantitative survey of the conclusion work thesis referred to the theme, it is finally sought to map the effective interest aroused by the discipline in the students compared to others.
