A STIMMUNG NA RELAÇÃO ENTRE O VENTO E ANA TERRA EM O TEMPO E O VENTO, DE ERICO VERISSIMO

Este artigo pretende analisar a relação entre o vento, a Stimmung e a personagem Ana Terra na novela homônima do escritor Erico Verissimo (1905-1975), a qual consta como o segundo episódio do volume O Continente (1949) na trilogia O tempo e o vento. Observa-se uma inegável relação entre o vento e a protagonista Ana Terra, a qual será analisada com base no conceito de Stimmung, explorado por Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht em seu livro Atmosfera, ambiência, Stimmung: sobre um potencial oculto da literatura. Destacaremos, nesta análise, o componente simbólico do vento enquanto elemento natural, bem como sua importância na narrativa de formação histórica do Rio Grande do Sul e sua representação em momentos chave da novela de Erico Verissimo.
 
ABSTRACT
This article seeks to analyze the relationships between the wind, Stimmung and the character Ana Terra in the novel with the same title written by Erico Verissimo (1905-1975), which is the second episode of the volume O Continente (1949) on the trilogy O tempo e o vento. It is possible to observe an undeniable relationship between the wind and the character Ana Terra, which will be analyzed with a basis on the concept of Stimmung, explored by Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht in his book Atmosphere, mood and Stimmung. We will emphasize, in this analysis, the symbolic component of the wind as a natural element, as well as its importance in the narrative of the historical formation of Rio Grande do Sul, and its representation in key moments in Erico Verissimo’s narrative.
