Abstract

O artigo analisa alguns dos principais apontamentos teóricos e debates envolvendo os estudos sobre a organização estadunidense Teach For America (TFA) e sua rede global Teach For All, iniciativas que se têm notabilizado pelo forte apoio a reformas educacionais de matriz liberal. Tendo como ponto de partida a noção de que processos de neoliberalização tem possibilitado a circulação de novos protótipos de políticas orientadas para a expansão da lógica do mercado, o trabalho aborda ainda a chegada e a tentativa de consolidação no país da organização Ensina Brasil, braço nacional do TFA.
