Diretrizes curriculares para o curso de Pedagogia: uma solução negociada

Abstract

Este trabalho trata de embates entre as distintas concepções de formação que se travaram na definição das Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para o Curso de Pedagogia. Destaca a resistência das associações educacionais visando assegurar o espaço de uma ciência-prática, tendo a docência como base e a superação da dicotomia entre a licenciatura e o bacharelado como meta. A Resolução CNE/CP n. 01/2006, que definiu o curso de Pedagogia como uma licenciatura, destinada a formar unificadamente o professor para a educação infantil e anos iniciais do ensino fundamental sem abrir mão da formação de profissionais para a construção do conhecimento científico e tecnológico do campo da educação, constitui-se numa solução negociada entre as associações de educação e o Conselho Nacional de Educação.
