The scope of this work is to analyze criminal intervention in the Economy, which resulted in the typification of the so-called economic crimes, and their relationship with public policies, in order to establish legitimate criteria for legal-criminal intervention in a Democratic State of Right. The Economic Criminal Law, in an expansionist bias, has its legitimacy put in check due to the adoption of typification models that break with its basic principles. At this point, Legistics, as the set of techniques and procedures to confer intelligibility, rationality, practical and linguistic adequacy to criminal norms, can it contribute to the construction of a legitimate and efficient Economic Criminal Law? To this end, we opted for documental and bibliographical analysis, promoting openings of meaning for the interdiscursive construction between Legistics and economic crimes.
