The originality of Alberto Caeiro´s “philosophy”, the heteronym of Fernando Pessoa, is based on a way of feeling. If we think that a philosophy expresses only ideas we are wrong. What it expresses, as probably all philosophies, are thoughts that are felt. The tranquility that spreads when reading his poems is also the supreme truth of his “philosophy”.
