This work investigates translation as a constitutive element of two different artistic practices: Concept Art and musical compositions constructed by the process of interartistic translation. For this purpose, we comprehend the concept of translation in its broad sense, as conceived by authors like Walter Benjamin and Haroldo de Campos. In order to carry out the present discussions, contributions from authors who discuss translation in the interarts axis - its vicissitudes and possibilities - were employed, understanding that they provide a suitable theoretical framework for the proposed study. Through this, it was possible to identify potential connections between Concept Art and music produced by interartistic translation, acknowledging the process of translation as a particularly fruitful path for interartistic exchange.
