Teaching social studies in the early years of elementary school is the theme of this text. Why do we teach social studies in the early year of basic education as we teach? What pedagogic and epistemological conceptions does it guide this organization of the social studies curriculum? How did it produce the social studies teaching that has a reference in concentric circles? The objective is to instigate the consolidated tradition around the way we teach social studies in the early years of elementary school in the basic education. It is a theoretical reflection on years of teaching experience in the early years and initial and continued formation of teachers.Downloads
