Este artigo tem como objetivo partilhar a experiência de intervenção profissional do assistente social na saúde, mais precisamente com crianças portadoras de Fibrose Cística, refletindo sobre o impacto do diagnóstico nas famílias e como a sociedade brasileira vem se organizando através de políticas publicas para o enfrentamento desta doença.
