Abstract

This article assumes the hypothesis that the campaigns carried out by international non-governmental organizations that act as transnational advocacy networks can be transnational educational campaigns. In order to understand the specificities of such campaigns, a case study focused on anti-racist education was carried out: the Jovem Negro Vivo campaign carried out by the Brazilian section of Amnesty. To this end, it began with a qualitative documentary analysis of reports, briefings and other available sources. It was found that the took on an educational character and had the particularity of proposing a connection between the local and the global. In this way, the organization connected the political and educational fields and highlighted the potential of this transnational dialogue for the anti-racist struggle
