About the Journal
Anos 90 is the journal of History of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - ISSN 1983-201X (online) and ISSN 0104-236X (printed - last edition in 2014).It is a periodical published since 1993 with semestre editions which, from 2019 started being published continuously (rolling pass). It aims to disseminate the production of recent historical knowledge and foster dialogue and debate in the field of historical studies and related fields (all back issues are available on the Previous tab).
Anos 90 accepts submissions of unpublished articles by scholars in History and its related fields in a continuous flow and for thematic dossiers (see the calls for publication in the dossiers in the News tab). The journal also accepts submission of reviews and may publish interviews, translations and historical documents as well.
All articles and reviews submitted are reviewed by the Editorial Committee. If they adhere to the norms of the journal, these manuscripts undergo blind peer review by two scholars on the subject. In case of disagreement between these two scholars regarding the acceptance of the article for publication, the manuscript is submitted to the evaluation of a third one. Authors submitting articles and reviews are informed, after the review process, if their articles have been accepted, rejected , or accepted with changes. The authors also receive the referees’ comments (see rules for submission in the About> Online Submissions tab).
This journal is rated A2 according to Qualis / Capes.
