Comments on a technic of treatment of curved and constricted root canals are made. In the first step - the opening of the pulp chamber - The importance of the removal of obstructions is emphasized. The next procedure is the chemico-mechanical preparation: in the large canals chlorinated soda is used, and in the constricled ones EDTA (ethylenediamineletracetic acid) is employed. Enlarging is started with Kerr-type files. Camphorated paramonochlorofenol is the desinfectant of choice. The filling of the canals is made with a paste in conjunction with gutta percha cones or silver cones, according to the particular conditions of the case.
