Abstract

A general appreciation is made of the actual state of high speed used in the preparation of cavities. The advantages and disadvantages of its use in operative dentistry are studied. The principal solutions put forth to solve a series of problems that the instrumentation and technics connecter with the employment of high speed still present, are discussed here. The possible innovations in this field of dentistry are examined as a conclusion.
