Abstract

The authors studied the efects of implantation of pure DMBA in submandibular glands of Wistar rats, after 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 days. They found that after 30 days epi- dermoid carcinoma arised possibly derived from the epithelium from the small ducts or from the epithelium that revest epidermoids cysts formed from implantation of the DMBA.
