The true role of mechanical instrumentation, aided by irrigation with many chemical substances, in root canal desinfection was demonstrated. The Action of some chemical antiseptics is going to be tested. Until the present moment the results got in research were: a) Bacteriogical tests were positive in cases of instrumentation and irrigation with distilled water, after this, it was used Eugenol as a disinfectant. b) Bacteriological results were negative, in first session, treated with instrumentation and irrigation with chlorinated soda and oxygenated water.
