Abstract

The author adapts to common periodontal disease the diagram by LEAVELL & CLARK the natural history of any disease of man. He presents the conclusion draw from the answers of two groups to a questionaire about the elements considered to be the most important in common periodontal disease; statistical dara is given concerning patients seen in specialized clinic in Periodontology. Discussion of results as well as suggestions are presented in order to omprove periodontal prevention.
