Abstract

The author has studied the seaIing properties of some materials such as Cavit, Zinc oxide-eugenol cement, Zinc phosphate cement, gutta percha, and gutta percha with Zinc phosphate cement, empÌoyed to hold medicinal agents in root canals, in fifty freshly extracted human bicuspids, and a 0,5% trypan blue solution. Best results were obtained with. Cavit, while, quite surprisingly, the worst results we're displaced by Zinc oxide-eugenol cement.
