Methods of reserch into calcifies tissues and their limitations

The paper gives the text of the inaugural lecture, held at the Faculty of Odontology on March 2nd 1963. The author analyses the methods of research into calcifies tissues and their limitations. Starting from observation of the bones of rubiafed animals he proceeds as far as investigation by means of electronic
microscopy. He concludes pointing out, that his lecture furnished an exposition of facts in chronological order, each of the findings signifying a contribution, which however limited and unable to solve all existing problems, adds to our knowÌedge. The are no limits to further developments, as it is a particular feature of man, that he wants to learn, to progress, to surpass and to realize himself.
