There are significative changes on the human saliva and the occlusal plane during the prepubertal and pubertal period. Saliva samples were collected from 30 subjects, both sexes, between 11 and 16 years old. The results show a major incidence of cells proliferations in girls, between 11-13 years, and boys from 14 to 16 years. There is some evidence that this occurrence coincides with a constellation of clinical features indicative of the growth process.Downloads
