Gestão de processos de negócios no varejo alimentar: modelagem do tratamento de divergências fiscais no recebimento de mercadorias

The Brazilian supermarket sector operates in a highly competitive environment in which the efficiency of internal processes is decisive for organizational continuity and performance. In this context, business process management stands out as a relevant approach to understand operational flows, identify failures, and propose improvements. This study aimed to analyze and model the process of handling fiscal discrepancies in the goods receiving process of a large supermarket chain located in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The research is characterized as qualitative, descriptive, and applied, based on a case study supported by direct observation, interviews with managers and employees, and the use of SIPOC and BPMN tools. The results showed that fiscal discrepancies generate delays, rework, and integration difficulties among the involved sectors, directly affecting the efficiency of the receiving flow. The process modeling enabled the identification of critical points and supported the proposal of improvements, including the formalization of work instructions, the creation of automatic alerts, the monitoring of stores with a higher frequency of blockages, the adoption of workflow software, and the definition of performance indicators. It is concluded that process management contributes to increasing integration among the Inbound, Fiscal, Commercial, Registration, and Supply sectors, promoting greater reliability and agility in goods receiving.
