Abstract

This article seeks to verify the role of domestic interest groups in shifting the US foreign policy guidelines to Cuba. It is hoped to understand the US domestic perspective on bilateral relations and what was the position of Barack Obama's government regarding the emergence of a possible new policy that would bring relations between the two countries closer together.
