The article reviews the changes in the Immigration Legal framework [Estatuto do Estrangeiro and Lei de Imigração] to present the challenges faced by qualified migrants in Brazil. Brazilian legal framework overviews the attraction of those professionals, and the strategic contributions to the economy and the country’s international insertion they could make.
