Abstract

Contemporary North Korea is challenged by two transitions. There‟s a dynastic succession after Kim Jon-Il passed way, with the appointment of his young son Kim Jon-Un and a new arrangements between the Party and the Army. By the other hand, after some failed attempts to reform the economy last decade, transition to the Chinese model is under way. It is considered the stability of this process.
