Abstract

This work aims to analyze, from a multisector point of view, the evolution of
distributive conflict of Brazilian economy from 2000 to 2014, from the understanding
that in an open economy there are two setting prices process. One is associated with
goods that follow an international reference value and another for goods that follow a
domestic pricing process. The period is divided in three phases. In the first one, 2001-
2003, the inflation rate is higher which is disadvantageous for workers and the profit
margins rises. In the second, from 2004 to 2009, inflation rate decreases simultaneously
to a fall in profit margins of international prices sectors and the real wage rises. The last
one, 2010-2014, maintain the distributive frame, but more smoothly.
