From interregional system of input-output estimated to South-Rest of Brazil regions, structuralized in 26 sectors, the article had as objective to estimate the interregional linkages indices of Rasmussen-Hirschman and GHS and the synergic interactions between the Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul (RS) and the Rest of Brazil (RBR) for the year of 1999. The main results showed that four sectors were key-sectors, namely: Metallurgy (4), Chemistry (11), Commerce (21) and Transport (22). In referring to synergic linkages, it was evidenced less dependence of the Rest of Brazil economy in relation to the others regions, although the final demand of the three states of the South has proportionate important impacts in the internal structure of the economy of this region. Moreover, the Rest of Brazil consists in the main region for sales of the states of the South. In South region, the economies of Parana and Santa Catarina are more articulated than the gaucha economy, reflecting differentiated standard of industrial structure between the regions.Downloads
