The main goal of this paper is to analyze the level of development in the Agribusiness of the region South from Brazil for the years of 1985, 1990 and 1995; using inter-regional input-output analysis. The results obtained show: how the Agribusiness is structured inside the region; and how the trade flows of the Agribusiness take place among the regions. The main findings of this work are: a) there was a increase in the share of the region South of 28,7% in 1985 to 29,6% in 1995 in the Brazilian's Agribusiness; b) the region South agriculture is highly advanced and integrated with others aggregate from the Agribusiness; c) the Agribusiness from the region South accounts for approximately 50% of the region's Gross Regional Product.Downloads
