    Abstract

    This paper presents the methodology to obtain the Brazilian input-output matrix by sectors or by products using, as a starting point, the IBGE matrices, as well as the methodology of projection and obtaining of regional matrices It also evaluates the impact of a variation of 6 and 30 million tons in the grain production of, respectively, Rio Grande do Sul and Brazil, on total output and employment in the year 2000.
